Meet the Owners and Crew of Lammer Law

In 30 years of running live-aboards owners Annie & Duncan Muirhead have developed and refined their own unique concept of the live-aboard experience. Lammer Law is the ultimate combination of diving convenience, creature comfort and sailing capability. The perfect measure of diving, dining and sunning, mixed with just the right dash of island hopping and shore excursions creates the perfect Galapagos adventure holiday.

Lammer Law is headed up by captain Patricio, who is Ecuadorian. He and his wife have a home in Puerto Ayora with their three children. He has been sailing vessels through Galapagos waters for many years. The reserve captain is Pepin.

The captain is assisted by a rotating crew of seven, which includes an engineer, who makes sure everything is running smoothly, and the head chef and assistant chef, who you'll seldom see because they spend most their time in the galley. When they do come up to serve, its always with a proud smile. The cabin steward makes sure your cabins are fresh and cleaned daily. The bartender, dive assistants and panga drivers are also multi-tasking and multi-talented so you'll see their smiling faces there when you need them.

Lammer Law's Captain and crew will see to it that your trip through the Galapagos Islands is not only comfortable and relaxing, but also educational and entertaining. Every Galapagos cruise will include two naturalist guides who are also your dive guides and who are trained by the Darwin Foundation and licensed by the Galapagos National Park. Before each dive and shore excursion you'll get a thorough and fascinating dive briefing so you'll have a pretty good idea what to expect once you get into the water or on land. The guides speak fluent English, Spanish and at least one other language.

One of the reasons the service aboard Lammer Law is so good is because the company has an excellent on-site manager, Felipe de la Torre. Stationed in the Galapagos, Felipe ensures the freshest produce is delivered, needed spares are available and any guest travel problems are sorted out quickly.
